I'm a strategy and program design consultant and community strategist. I help mission-driven organizations turn grants and big ideas into programs that actually work. My work covers strategy, program design, implementation, systems development, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and program growth.
Program Experience
Networks built, grants delivered, programs kept moving
At MEDA, I led and expanded the Volunteer Accelerator Network to more than 65 mentors and 180+ clients, managing mentorships, resources, and small-business startup consulting.
Today, through CanRenew, I am Project Consultant and Director for MEDA's Roadmap to Business Success. My work also includes service as Vice Chair/Treasurer of PIPCLT and on the MAVA Board as Board Member, Public Policy, and Vice Chair, DEI Committee. How I Work
Three things every engagement is built on
Structure
Priorities written down, ownership assigned, and a plan with dates on it. Most stalled initiatives are not short on ideas. They are short on a decision about what happens next and who carries it.
Imagination
A program shaped around the people it serves rather than copied from a template. That is where the spark in the name comes from, and it is what keeps participants coming back.
Heart
Mission work is personal for the people doing it. I work alongside teams instead of handing over a document and leaving, so the plan survives contact with a real week.

Founder of BIPOC Entrepreneur Day
Founded BIPOC Entrepreneur Day in 2024, while working as a program manager at MEDA, to celebrate and support Minnesota's minority entrepreneurs, and secured an official proclamation from the Governor of Minnesota recognizing the day statewide. I also serve on the MAVA Board as Board Member, Public Policy, and Vice Chair, DEI Committee.

Real Estate & Homeownership
Homeownership can be one of the most powerful tools for building long-term stability, equity, and generational wealth.
My real estate work also intersects with my role as Founder of Prosperity Link, a nonprofit initiative focused on expanding pathways to homeownership and economic mobility for communities that have historically faced barriers to owning property and building generational wealth.
That perspective informs both my client work and my broader commitment to housing access, entrepreneurship, community development, and economic equity.

Service, stewardship, and possibility
I'm passionate about helping entrepreneurs and communities build power and lasting wealth. I'm also raising a blended family and building a legacy rooted in service, stewardship, and possibility.
Alivia is pursuing graduate legal studies at St. Mary's University School of Law, expanding the legal and policy perspective she brings to entrepreneurship, housing, community development, and mission-driven work.
